In regards to the resin; I was going to go with the Epoxy resin due to it being non toxic and such. (don't need a ventilator) how many coats of it should I do?

Bondo + Sanding
Painting

But I need to know; How do I go about scaling it to fit the peices of armor as life sized armor for the cosplay, Any tips that I could perhaps use to go about this???
